Next April, INFORMA D&B will launch the 2007 edition of the Prestige Rating Book.

This publication compiles information on the 25,000 best Spanish companies, taking as a reference D&B Rating, which evaluates the Financial Capacity and the Global Credit Evaluation of a company.

INFORMA D&B increases the availability and security of their systems, as they have acquired a new mainframe.

INFORMA D&B will install next Sunday 18th March a new mainframe which will replace the current corporate system.This investment is a step forward in the plan “High availability of Systems”, and it is an essential part in its strategic policy of recovery of disasters.This new machine will be a model of the new series of NOVA from FUJITSU and it has the latest technological advances not only in hardware devices, but also in the capacity of the installed base software.

In Fact, we won't install one system, but two subsystems physically separated 30 kilometres between them, and joined together with a dedicated communications line.

Nevertheless, the systems are never perfect, and at any time, an unexpected breakdown can cause a service break. With this investment, you can be certain that INFORMA D&B has put its most essential asset in a high availability position and ready for any risk of continuity of the business, in case it is necessary.
